Obituary

Ruby L. Stein, 76, lifetime Sedgwick resident, died Sunday June 19, 1994 at the Halstead Hospital. She was born April 12, 1918 in Newton to Rauben and Ada White Royer. She married Marvin K. Stein on May 21, 1939 in Newton. He survives.

She was a homemaker, former teacher and retired psychiatric aide at the Halstead Hospital. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Halstead, American Assoc. of Retired Persons, and a 4-H leader for more than 25 years.

Survivors: four sons, Kermit of Windsor, Colorado; Kenneth of Newton,; Ed of Hutchinson and Ted of rural Sedgwick; one daughter, Wanda Stein of rural Sedgwick; two brothers, Harold and Don of Langmont, Colorado; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, James on January 13, 1989 and Gerald in May 1942.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Halstead. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
