Obituary

Funeral services for Miss Mabel Alice Taylor, who died at the Axtell Christian Hospital, Newton, were held Tuesday at the Kaufman Chapel in Halstead. The Rev. Harley Pruor officiating. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.

Miss Taylor, 91, was a lifelong resident of the Sedgwick community. She was born May 25, 1883 at Sedgwick, the daughter of A. H. and Mary Alice Stewart Taylor. Miss Taylor was a graduate of the School of Nursing at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She worked 60 yuear in public health. She was the Harvey County Health nurse for 30 years.
