Obituary

Agnes Nightingale, 88, Halstead, died April 30, 1991 at Regency Health Care Center, Halstead. She was born December 8, 1902 at Ringwood, Oklahoma, daughter of David H. and Nettie Wedel Schmidt. She married Adam Nightingale August 31, 1928 at Halstead. He died August 19, 1987. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of the Halstead area for 60 yeaars. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church and the Women's Mission Society, Halstead.

Survivors: son, Richard L. Nightingale, Halstead; brother, Leo Schmidt, Shafter, California; sisters, Alma Schulz, San Jose, California and Bertha Unruh, Cleo Springs, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday morning,10:30 a..m. May 2, at the Halstead Cemetery with the Rev. John H. Waltner. A memorial service will be that morning at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Waltner. Burial will ge in the Halstead cemetery.
