Obituary

Funeral services for Ward M. Lehman, who died Wednesday, February 17,1960,at the Halstead Hospital were held Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church. He was born at Halstead August 22, 1894 and lived most of his life on a farm north of Halstead. At the time of his death, he was employed at the Hertzler Clinic. He was a World War I veteran. On August 5, 1919 he married Hazel Stewart, who survives him. He was a amember of the Presbyterian church.

Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Jean) Kroeker of Newton and Mrs. Clifford L. (LaDean) Breeden of Hillsdale, Michigan; a son Tom of the home; his mother, Mrs. D. A. Lehman of Newton; brother, Paul of Wichita and four grandchildren.

Rev. Paul L. Carpenter officiated at the services. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery under the direction of the Kaufman Funeral Home.
