Obituary

Hazel I. Lehman, 91, Halstead, died March 28. 1993 at the Kansas Christian Home, Newton.

She was born August 5, 1901, at Stafford, daughter of Roy and Armany Belle Martin Stewart. A Halstead resident since 1919, moving to Newton in 1989, she was a retired seamstress and dental hyenist. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Halstead.

On August 14, 1919, she married Ward M. Lehman at Sedgwick. He preceded her in death in 1960.

Survivors: two daughters, Jean E. Krocker, Newton and Marjory of Breeden, Hillsdale, Michigan; sister, Delome Croy, Kent, Washington; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Lehman.

Memorial service will be annoounced at a later date by Kaufman Funeral Home.
