Obituary

Telva I. Nichols, 80, Halstead, died December 28, 1986 at the Halstead Hospital. She was born March 31, 1906 at Halstead, daughter of Robert L. and Florence O. Moore Carter. She married Walter Nichols March 7, 1925. He died May 23, 1956. She was a seamstress for Fashion Cleaners, Halstad and lived in Halstead all of her life.

Survivors: three daughters; Dolores Haldeman and Floretta Roberson of Wichita and Donna Glazener, Plano, Texas; one brother, Arthur Caarter, Halstad; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at the church with burial in the Halstead cemetery.
