Obituary

Mrs. Lydia Sayler died Saturday at the Bethel Home for the Aged in Newton where she had lived for the past nine years. She was born May 6, 1873 at Darksville, West Virginia and came to Burrton in 1874. She moved to Halstead in 1908. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Hanna of Mt. Hope and her son, Charles of Babbit, Nevada and two grandsons. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Cautious Choate officiaging. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
