Obituary

Alda Mae Woodworth, 65, Halstead, died Monday, August 1, 1994 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita. She was born September 9, 1928 at Halstead, the daughter of Clifford R. and Irene Montgomery Shaver. A life time resident of Halstead, she ws a retired service representaative with KG&E.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Kappa Kappa Gamma and Helianthos, Jr., all of Halstead.

On October 26, 1942 whe married Gilbert Woodworth, Jr., at Halstead. He died June 7, 1980. Survivors: sons, John Woodworth, Grand Junction, Colorado; Bill Woodworth, Peachtree City, Georgia and daughter, Jayne Akeman, Fayetteville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Musgrave in April of 1993.

Graveside service was Wednesday in the Halstead Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Meeks presiding.
