Obituary

Services for Marshall E. Steele, 62, were held Friday at Halsted Baptist Church. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.

A retired barber, Mr. Steele was born January 20. 1912 at Halstead. He was married to Alma Allen on December 14, 1936
at Seminole, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Baptist Church and had lived in Halstead 10 years. He formerly resided in Sedgwick.

Survivors: widow of the home; one son, Donald E., Vallejo, California; one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Karen) Kliewer, Halstead; one brother, Allen, Wichita; two sisters, Mrs. Blaine Pollard, Sedgwick and Mrs. Margaret Anderson, Seymour, Missouri; four grandchildren.
