Obituary

Mrs. Rebecca M. Honn, 81, died Saturday at the Peabody Memorial Nursing Home. She was born March 11, 1893 in Marion County. Her husband, Ira A. Honn, died in 1959.

She was a retired hospital cook and had lived in Sedgwick since 1964. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Newton.

Survivors: three daughters, Mrs. Hope Smith,Sedgwick; Mrs. Eileen Kennard, Cedar Vale; and Mrs. Marie Leonard, Wichita; two sisters, Mrs. Valerie Fester, Newkirk, Oklahoma and Mrs. Gladys Hampton,Newton, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at Kaufman Funeral home in Halstead with Rev. Gene Eshelman officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgeick, Kansas.
