Obituary

William H."Hank" Kennedy, 75, 605 Park Place, a lifetime resident of Newton, died early today at Axtell Christian Hospital.

He was born April 2, 1900 in Newton, the son of Alfred and Minnie Haus Kennedy. He married Cecile M. Worley, April 2, 1924 at Wichita. She died April 12, 1972.

Mr. Kennedy was a retired restaurant owner and farmer. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Survivors: one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Hough, Newton; one sister, Mrs. Sherwood (Mary) Stacy, Florida; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday at the church with Rev. Thomas Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
