Obituary

Services were held today at the Kaufman Chapel for Ewert D. Kimball, 69, who died Saturday at the Halstead Hospital. Rev. John H. Hastings officiated and burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.

He was born December 17, 1905 at Davenport, Iowa. He married Evelyn Grant May 10. 1924 at Davenport. He was a retired meter reader at Mesa, Arizona and had lived in Halstead since 1964. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors: the widow; three sons, Dean, Halstead; Wayne, Newton; Roger, North Hollywood, California; one brother, Gene, Mesz, Arizona; three sisters, Mrs. Bernece Ingram, Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. Loretta Carlson, Buffalo, Iowa and Mrs. Vera Zier, Mesa; 28 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
