Floyd Leo McGlachlin

Floyd L. McGlachlin, 68, retired farmer, died Monday night at his home at 1021 Madison. He was born August 9, 1907 in Newton, the son of William and Katherine McGlachlin. He married Clarice Ham, May 1, 1932 in Newton. He had lived in western Kansas and Oregon for 21 years and the remainder of his life in Newton. He was a member of the East Side Methodist Church.

Survivors in addition to the widow include; one daughter, Mrs. Donice Potterf, Goodland; two sons, Loren, Wichita and Delbert, Corvallis, Oregon; one sister, Mrs. Lois Fleischauer, Dunnellon, Florida; two brothers, Fred, Newton and Austin, Lebanon, Oregon; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
