Emma M. (Schriver) Worthington

She came to Kansas with her parents in 1871 at the age of eight. They settled near Whitewater where she grew to womanhood. In 1883 she was married at Whitewater to Linford E. Worthington who died in 1888. Soon after the death of her husband the young widow and mother moved to Newton where she lived until 1917 when she moved to Wadsworth, Ohio, to be near her daughter.
