Obituary

Mrs. Lorena A. Schroll, 86, Whitewater, died Thursday at Axtell Christian Hospital in Newton after a long illness. She was born April 8, 1888 in Harvey County, Kansas. She married William J. Schroll in 1909. He survives of the home.

Mrs. Schroll had lived all of her life in the Whitewater area and was employed for many years as a Whitewater telephone operator. She was a member of the Federated Church

The only other survivor, in addition to the widower, is one daughter, Mrs. Wilma Brenner of the home.

Services will be held Sunday at the church. Burial will be in the Whitewater Cemetery.
