Obituary

Baxter F. Shive, 84, died Saturday at the Halstead Hospital. He was born Novemer 12, 1890 at Hays, Kentucky. He was a retired construction worker and had lived here in Burrton three months. He was a member of the Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge.

Survivors, two sisters, Mrs. Zella D. Phipps, Concordia and Mrs. Beatrice Blubaugh, Burrton.

Services will be conducted at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with Harold Mathews officiating. Burial will be in Hunt Cemetery, Burrton. A memoriala has been established for the Harvey County Cander Fund.
