Obituary

Mrs. Tiena Wiebe, 78, formerly of Wheatland Homes, North Newton, died Saturday evening at the Kansas Christian Home. She was born September 3, 1896 at Hillsboro, daughter of Frank and Aganetha Wohlgemuth. She came to Newton 20 years ago from Whitewater. She was a retired cook at Axtell Christian Hospital. She was a member of the Gnadenau Mennonite Church.

Survivors: one daughter, Mrs. Wallis (Neoma) Schmidt, Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Konrath, Walton and Mrs. Susie Jost, Hillsboro; three brothers, Neal Wohlgemuth, Newton; Pete Wohlgemuth, Castile, New York; and Abel Wohlgemuth, Whitewater; four grandchildren. Two sons, Harold Dean and Leo Harrison, one daughter, Mrs. Betty Moore, four sisters and five brothers preceded her in death.

Services will be held in the Peterson Funeral Home chapel with burial in the Whitewater Cemetery on Tuesday.
