Lamb, Margaret D.

Sedgwick Pantagraph

Margaret S. Fox was born in Highland coounty, Ohio, June 2, 1824 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Wright in Sedgwick, November 14, 1905.

She was married to Ithamar Lamb. Of this union, seven children were born, four of whom are still living. Louise Wright of Sedgwick; Virena Nicholson of Wayne couonty, Indiana; Mrs. Martha Shaffer of Madison, Kansas; and Mrs. Malyssa Smith of Kiowa, Kansas.

With the family, she came to Kansas in 1876, and since that time she has resided in Kansas. She was converted and united with the United Brethren church in Indiana in 1844.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday of last week, November 15, conducted by Rev. Eldred of the Congregational Church after which the remains were interred at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
