The angel of death crossed the threshold of Rev. and Mrs. J. H. Langenwalter's home and took away their little baby boy, Hermann Jacob, aged two months. Their two year old son, Charles, had been seriously ill with pneumonia but is recovering. A graveside service was held in Halstead Cemetery.
Just a little over three years ago, their two year old daughter died and the little bodies now rest side by side in the cemetery.
