Edward P. Swansoon, age 25, died near Oregon City, Oregon by coming in contact with a live wire in the shop where he was working. His remains arrived in Burrton on the Sabbath.
The Modern Woodmen marched with the hearse to the burial rites of the grave. Mr. Swanson was a graduate of Burrton High School and a student at the Kansas University for one year where he studied Mechanical engineering.
