Obituary

Harold C. Unruh, 78, Halstead, died January 26, 1989 at the Halstead Hospital. He was born October 29, 1910 at Halstead, the son of Abe and Georgia Steele Unruh. He married Rebecca Brown December 31, 1935 at Halstead. He was a retired farmer and a Halstead area resident all his life.

Survivors: wife of the home; son, Gary, Rural Halstead; two daughters, Judy Hughes, Rural Newton and Joan Angle, Apache Junction, Arizona; brothers, Gene, Mountain Air, New Mexico; Herb, Halstead; and Homer, Grove, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mildred Considine and Marjorie Stucky, both of Halstead; seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one step-great grandchild.

Services were held Saturday afternoon at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead with burial in the Halstead Cemetery.
