Obituary

Helen B. Nachtigal, 87, Halstead, died December 26, 1991 at the Halstead Hospital. She was born May 10, 1904 at Halstead, the daughter of August and Caroline Bumgaratner Hahn. A lifetime resident of Halstead, she was a retired food service supervisor for the Halstead public schools. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Halstead.

On June 1, 1924 she married John D. Nachtigal at Halstead. He died May 30, 1974. Survivors include a son, Wilbert Nachtigal, Halstead; two daughters, Barbara Evans, Halstead and Ruth Arrowsmith Tozier, Larned; a brother, Albert Hahn, Newton; nine grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and five great-great grandchidren.

Services were eld Saturday at the church. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
