Obituary

Howard R. Osborn, 67, died December 19, 1992 at the Halstead Hospital. He was born April 10, 1925 at Newton, son of George and Blanche Adamson Osborne. A lifelong Sedgwick resident, he was a farmer. He was a member of the Sedgwick Christian Church, the Sedgwick American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Forty and Eight, all at Sedgwick.

On April 19, 1947 he married Faye Simonson. She survives. Other survivors: son, Phil Osborn, Wichita; two daughters, JoAnn Schuttler, Olathe and Jan E. Jones, Sedgwick; brother, Bill Osborn, Bedford, Texas; sister, Jean Jackson, Tuscon, Arizona; five grandchildren; nephews, Doug Camapbell, Ulysses and Rod Campbell, San Diego, California and a niece, Tami Dubuisson of Woodlandk, Texas, all of whom were raised by the osborns.

Services were held Wednesday at the church. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
