Obituary

Harold B. Gleason, 70, Halstead, died February 10, 1993 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Wichita. He was born November 1, 1922 at Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Matthew and Gertrude Beckum Gleason. A Halstead resident since 1951 he was a retired liquor store manager. He was a member of the Catholic Church and was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.

He married Gloria J. Richardson at Rantoul, Illinois on January 5, 1943. Survivors include his wife; son, Charles Gleason, Wichita; three daughters, Kathy Dextradeur, Wichita; Cindy McCammon, Kansas City, Missouri; and Julie Jones, Kearney, Missouri; brother, Bill Gleason, Atlanta; two sisters, Norma Jean Gleason and Shirley Gleason, both of California; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

Graveside service was held Saturday in the Halstead Cemetery. A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
