Obituary

Ronald Ralph Kroeker, 74, Newton, former Halstead resident, died March 25, 1994 at Newton Medical Center, Halstead. He was born April 8, 1919 at Halstead, the son of David J. and Hilda Ruth Kroeker. A Newton resident for the past 30 years, he was a retired purchasing agent for Kreonite Inc., Wichita. He was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 971, both of Newton. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.

He married Jean E. Lehman at Halstead on December 2, 1942. She survives. Other survivors: daughter, Ann Bolhorst, Santa Clara, California; sister, Ruth Weiderstein, Canon City, Colorado; and three grandchildren.

Memorial service was Tuesday March 29 at First Mennonite Church. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
