Obituary

Homer John Redinger, 82, Halstead, died Thursday, September 29, 1994 at Halstead Hospital. He was born Septemer 29, 1912 at Burrton, the son of John William and Madeline Wendling Redinger.

He was a resident of Halstead since 1989, was a retired farmer from the Burrton area and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Halstead Farmer's Co-op, both of Halstead.

He married Julia V. Walker at Minden, Louisiana on Janury 22, 1940. She survives. Other survivors: three sons, Jim Redinger, Jeff Redinger and John Redinger, all of Burrton; daughters, Judy Dressler, Prairie Village; Janet Ropp and Julie Kanady, both of Hutchinson; Jean Cutting, Moundridge; Joan Redinger, Haysville and Jeri Coplin, Mulvane; two brothers, William Redinger, Olney, Illinois and Paul Redinger, May, Texas; sister, Helen Vierthaler, Burrton; 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Roary was Sunday October 2 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral was at the church on Monday. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
