Lucille L Huebert

Lucille Lillian 'Bru' Huebert, 75, Halstead, died Wednesday August 31, 1994 at the Halstead Hospital. She was born December 12, 1918 in Dexter, Kansas, the daughter of Roy and Gertrude J. Joy Brubaker. A Halstead resident since 1939, she was a retired registered nurse at the Hertzler Clinic, Halstead.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, UPW, Halstad Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association, Halstead Nursing Association, Editor of the White Banner News letters, all of Halstead and the Kansas State Alumni Nursing Association.

She married Eldon Hoover February 17, 1945. He died February 25, 1952. She then married Richard Huebert on August 1, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He died December 2, 1972.

Survivors include a son, Gene Huebert, Halstead; a brother, Howard Brubaker, Colexico, California; a sister, Naomi F. Kipp, Albuquerque, New Mexico; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Olin LeRoy Brubaker in August 1970, and a sister, Millie Ruth Mar on March 20, 1919.

Graveside service was held Friday, September 2 at the Halstead Cemetery.
