Obituary

Naomi Thornhill Hale, 69, Wichita, former Halstead resident died November 12, 1995 at Via Christi St. Joseph Campus Medical Center, Wichita. Mrs. Hale was born Septembere 16, 1926 at Oberlin, Kansas, the daughter of Anton and Rosa Cress Nielsen. She was a retired registered nurse and a 1948 graduate of the Halstead School of Nursing. She worked at the Halstead Hospital and then St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita. She was a member of the Glenn Park Christian Church in Wichita.

She married Keith Thornhill May 29, 1948 at Halstead. He died April 5, 1958. She then married Max Hale. Survivors include her husband of the Home; three sons, Doug Hale, Rodney Hale and Jeff Hale, all of Wichita; daughter, Diane Goodwin, Enid, Oklahoma; her mother Rosa Neilsen Hahn, Oberlin, brother, Gens Nielsen, Kimball, Nebraska; sister, Veda Muller, Rangely, Colorado; three grandchildren. Besides her first husband, she was preceded in death by her father, and one sister, Karen Fisher.

Services were held Wednesday November 15 at the church with the Rev. Tom Hawks. Burial was later that day in the Halstead Cemetery, Halstead, Kansas
