Obituary

William L. "Red" Hoffman, Scheretz, Texas, father to Glenda Christine Brandenberger of Halstead, died Saturday, November 4, 1994 at his residence. He was born January 29, 1926 at Halstead, the son of Charles and Estella Steele Hoffman. A resident of Halstead and Burrton before moving to Texas, he was a retired independent businessman. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Halstad, and the Moose Lodge in Hutchinson.

He married Christine Scott in Halstead on May 26, 1951. She survives. Other survivors: a granddaughter, Lisa Christine Chapin, Inman; a great granddaughter, Courtny Christine Chapin, Inman and two twin great-grandsons, Alec Christopher and Darrien Lee Chapin, both of Inman.

Funeral will be Thursday, November 9 at the church in Halstead. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery. Memorials have been established with the American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association.
