Obituary

Harold R. "Rolly" Berger, 82, Halstead, died Saturday January 13, 1996 at HCA Wesley Rehabilitation Hospital in Wichita. He was Born July 8, 1913 at Halstead, the son of John V. and Katie Hanselman Berger. He was a lifelong resident of Halstead. He was a retired farmer and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Halstead.

He married Marian L. Jordan in Newton on August 16, 1936. She survives. Other survivors: son, Larry Bereger and his wife, Virginia, Newton and a daughter, Carole Bean, Halstead; 8 grandsons and 9 great grandchildren.

Graveside service was held Tuesday January 16 ad the Halstead Cemetery. A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association.
