Jacob Earl Krehbiel

Jacob Earl Krehbiel, 92, Moundridge, formerly of Halstead, died Friday, September 18, 1998 at Mercy Hospital, Moundridge. He was born November 7, 1905 at Halstead, son of Jacob and Louise Meyer Krehbiel. Before moving to a Moundridge retirement center, he had been a long time resident of Halstead and was a retired farmer. He married Vera Winchester at Herrington on June 11, 1935. She survives; Other survivors: son, Tom Krehbiel, Halstead; brothers, Harold Krehbiel, Paris, Tesas and Karl Krehbiel, Owensboro, Kentucky; sisters, Gladys Brown and Nora Edminster, both of Sun City West, Arizona and Sylvia Ellis, Redonodo Beach, California and three grandchildren. Graveside service was Monday, Septemer 12, at Halstead Cemetery with Rev. James Mardock presiding.
