Obituary

Kenneth E. Roobuck, 79, Halstead, died Monday, September 27, 1999 at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita. He was born February 1, 1920 at Halstead, the son of Frank O. and Blanche S. Stewart Robuck. A lifetime resident of Halstead, he was a retired quality control inspector for Cessna Aircraft and L. & S Machine Company, both of Wichita.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Halstead; Masonic Lodge North Star 0168; Scottish Rite of Freemasonry; Midian Shrine, all of Wichita; Harvey County Hobos; Elks Lodge 706 and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 5, all of Newton. He had served as Halstead Municipal Court Judge for 30 years and was also a former member of the Halstead Old Settlers Committee.

He married Leona Hocketet on February 9, 1940 at Halstead. She survives: Other survivors include a son, Kenneth Robuck, Jr., Dana Point, California, 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilber Robuck, Glenn Robuck and Stewart Robuck; and a sister, Frances Seger.

Funeral is Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Halstead. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
