Obituary

Georgia M. May, 62, Halstead, died Wednesday, September 1, 1999 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita. She was born March 18, 1937 at Humboldt, the daughter of Harold and Lorene Booker Piatt. A resident of Halstead since 1962, she was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Halstead.

On May 27, 1956, she married Martin G. "Gene" May at Humboldt. He survives. Other survivors include sosns Steve May, Halstead, Stanley May, Douglass; daughter, Joy Fyler, Wichita; a brother, Kenneth Piatt, Chanute; a sister, Hazel Van Houten, Humboldt; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral was Friday, September 3, at First United Methodist Church, Halstead. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
