William Lee Considine

Wiliam Lee "Bill" Considine, 71, died June 20, 2000 at Newton Medical Center, Newton. He was born March 21, 1929 at Halstead, the son of Johon W. and Mildred M. Unruh Considine. He was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of the National Cattlemans Association and Kansas Livestock Association.

He married Alice Claire Hanna at Wichita on November 3, 1979. She survives. Other survivors: two sons, Michael, Wichita nd Phillip, Burrton; two daughters, Mary Ann Jones, Burrton and Pamela McCurry, Sedgwick; two stepsons, Guy Hanna, Hutchinson and Mark Hanna, Wichita; stepdaughter, Cindy Gatz, Preston; two brothers, Robert, Halstead and Dean, Middleton, Maryland; sister, Margaret Bergkamp, Halstead and 19 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie McGinn.

Funeral will be Friday at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead with Father James O'Shea presiding. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
