Obituary

Dolores Walton Haldiman, 72, Wichita, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001 at her home. She was born August 25, 1928 at Halstead, the daughter of Walter Thomas Nichols and Telva Irene Carter Nichols.

She was a 1946 graduate of Halstead High School and a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Wichita. She was retired from Foulston and Siefkin, where she was a legal secretary.

Survivors: husband, Jack, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Cyndie and Jerry Ewy, Valley Center; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Patty Walton, Sterling; stepson and daughter-in-law, David and Marcia Haldiman, California, Missouri; two sisters, Floretta Roberson, Wichita and Donna Glazener, Plano, Texas; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

A memorial service was held on March 10 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Wichita, with Father Kent Hermberger officiating. Burial was in the Halstead, Kansas cemetery.
