Obituary

Vera Krehbiel, 86, Moundridge, former Halstead resident, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at Memorial Home, Moundridge. She was born September 6, 1915 at Marion, the daughter of Clarence and Belva Sullivan Winchester. She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 5 in Newton.

On June 1,1935 she married Jacob Earl Krehbiel at Herington. He preceded her in death September 18, 1998. Surivors include; son, Earl W. "Tom" Krehbiel and his wife, Phyllis, Halstead; a brother, Efford Winchester, Dallas, Texas; one grandson, Joe Krehbiel, Douglasville, Georgia; two granddaughters, Judy Krehbiel, Rancho Palos Verdes, California and Karen Colby, Newport Beach, California and one great granddaugahter, Jenna Krenbiel-Henry, Rancho Palos Verdes, California. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Winchester and Billy Winchester.

No public services are scheduled. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery, Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead was in charge of arrangements.
