Obituary

Menno Koehn, 82, lifeolong Halstead resident before moving to Moundridge in 1998, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge. He was born January 19. 1921 at Halstead, the son of Jacob Tobias and Nettie Unruh Koehn. He was a farmer and feed delivery truck driver for the Farmers Co-Op for Halstead.

He married Edna Marie Buller May 19, 1946 at Halstead. She survives. He was a member of the Grace Church of God in Christ Mennonite, rural Halstead.

Survivors: wife, Edna Koehn of Halstead; son, Victor Koehn, Kutztown, Pennsylvania; daughter, Shirley Unruh, Walnut Hill, Florida; two brothers, Allen Koehn and Harley Koehn both of Halstead; two sisters, Eileen Dyck DeRidder, Louisiana and Vera Schmidt, Dumas, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Otis Koehn, Lucas Koehn and Noah Koehn and a sister, Ada Nightingale.

The service will be held Friday, March 7 at the Grace Church ov God in Christ Mennonite Church, rural Halstead, conducted by Ministers Dean Becker and Raleigh Koehn with burial following at the Halstead Cemetery.
