Barbara Janice (Monroe) Richards

Barbara Janice Richards, 89, Sedgwick, died Saturday, April 3, 2004 at the Presbyterian Manor in Newton, kansas. She was born October 11, 1914 in Abilene to Alva R. and Barbara M. Shafer Monroe. She was a homemaker.

On June 21, 1958 she married Clell Damon Richards in Enterprise. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Kermit Monroe, Gilbert Monroe and Hugh Monroe.

Graveside services will be held May 8, Saturday at Fairview Cemetery on County Road 801, two miles north of Highway 50 in Halstead.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Unit of Presbyterian Manaor.
