Obituary

Harriet K. Hand, 72, former Halstead resident, died May 29, 2005 at Heatherwood Village, Newton where she had lived since 1993. She was born October 19, 1932 at Newton, daughter of Harry M. and Zelta K. Schulze Hand.

She was a 1950 graduate of Halstead High School and a 1954 graduate of Halstead School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at Halstead Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Halstead.

Survivors are cousins and friends.

Graveside service was held June 1, 2005 at the Halstead Cemetery with Rev. Nancy Lambing officiating.
