Obituary

Anna M. Dreese, 90 of Halstead, died April 28, 2006 at Newton Medical Center. She was born March 10, 1916 to Wade and Etta MacNeeley Hurt. She married William Curtis Dreese on September 16, 1941 at Topeka. He died January 4, 2000.

She was a homemaker, member of First Presbyterian Church, PEO, Chap AK, Halstead Tree Board and Halstead Library Board, all of Halstead. She was a 1939 graduate of University of Kansas.

Survivors: sons, Curtis Dreese, Spokane, Washington and Gregory Dreese, Arvada, Colorado; daughter, Debra Mallory, Aurora, Colorado; sister, Maurine Wallin, Denver, Coloradl and three grandchildren.

Inurnment will be Monday May 8, 2006 at the Halstead Cemetery. Kaufman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
