Obituary

Eulalia L. Young, 91, died May 27, 2007 at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation. She was born March 22, 1916 in Halstead, the daughter of Edward August and Anna Jewell Freeman Keller. She was a homemaker and manager of the Halstead Golf Club.

She belonged to the First United Methodist Church; United Methodist Women; Ruth Wilson American Legion Post no. 231 Auxiliary; Halstead Golf Club Ladies Association; Leader of the Halstead Progressive Chapter 4-H, all in Halstead and the Harvey County Farm Bureau Women.

On December 14, 1937 she married Leo Alton Young in Halstead. He died April 25, 2000.

Survivors: son, Jack of Haven; two grandchildren and a great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Kent Young and a brother, Arnold Keller.

Funeral will be Thursday at the church with Revs. Jennifer Whitt and Peter Hartman presiding. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
