Obituary

Linda Ropp passed away June 1, at Hospice House. She was born February 2, 1948 at Newton to Raymond Wes and Velma Day Lehman Suenram. Linda was a 1966 graduate of Halstead High school. She graduated in 1988 from Hutchinson Community College and worked as an office managere at the Dillons Distsribution Center for over 25 years.

She was a volunteer at the Buhler Sunshing Home; a participant at Reins of Hope and a member of the Kansas Buffalo Association. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and active with the United Methodist Women and recently awarded the UMW Woman of the Year award.

She married Dan L. Ropp on August 26, 1967 in Halsted. He survives. Other survivors; son, Tracy Ropp of Goddard, daughter, Jody Holle and Curtis of Marysville, grandchildren; Mathew and Claire Holle of Marysville; brother, Rick Suenram and Karen of Syria, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services were held Friday, June 4 at Elliott Chapel. A private family graveside service will be held at the Halstead Cemetery at a later date.
