Obituary

Norma J. Behymer, 61, Sedgwick, died February 19, 1990 at the Halstead Hospital. She was born August 9, 1928 at Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of William M. "Ray" and Henrietta Stremmel Smith. She married Keith Behymer June 6, 1948 in Wichita. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Christian Church and the American Legion Auxilliary, both of Sedgwick and the Eastern Star of Newton.

Survivors: Husband of the home, four sons, Stephen and David H., both of Sedgick; Douglas B., Phoenix, Arizona and Brian R., Orlando, Florida; one daughter, Celeste K. Wright, Wichita; one brother, Carl E. Smith, Las Vegas, Nevada; her mother, Henrietta Wilcox, Copeland, Kansas and two grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at the church with burial in the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick. Memorials to the Lillian Tear Library Children's Summer Reading Program.
