Obituary

Graveside services were held Wednesday, August 29, 1990 at the Halstead Cemetery for Floda Kruse Cheatham, formerly of Halstead, who died in Mesa, Arizona December 11, 1989 The Rev. Dale L. Powell conducted the services.

Mrs. Cheatham was born in 1903 at Geary, Oklahoma. She was a graduate of Halstead High School and of the Halstead Hospital School of Nursing. Her late husband, Harold Cheatham, was also a graduate of the Halstead High School Class of 1921.

Mrs. Cheatham was a registered nurse who practiced her profession in several states, retiring in Arizona. Memorial services were held at the First Presbyterian Church of Mesa, Arizona in December and her cremains were buried in the Halstead Cemetery beside those of her late husbands.
