Obituary

Dorothy Reusser, 86, Haysville, Kansas, former Halstead resident, died July 8, 1990 at Green Meadow Nursing Home, Haysville. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Halstead for 47 years before moving to the home.

She was born August 29, 1903 in Oklahoma, the daughter of Samuel and Rhoda Ann Bryant Mayfield. She married Lorraine E. Reusser April 12, 1947 at ElDorado, Kansas. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary, both of Halstead.

Survivors: two sons, Paul Million and Hal Million, both of Haysville; daughter, Norma Smith, Loveland, Colorado; brother, Clyde Mayfield, Springfield, Oregon; sister, Neva Mazzanti, Lake Village, Arkansas; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday at Kaufman Funeral Home with Burial in the Halstead Cemetery.
