Obituary

Helen Bradley Schowalter, 101, Halstead, died January 27, 1990 at Regency Health Care Center, Halstead. She was born September 3, 1888 at Norcatur, Kansas, the daughter of G. H. and Marian Jones Bradley. She married Marcus M. Schowalter, Sr., he died October 30, 1975. She was a retired elementary school teacher and had been a resident of Halstead for 80 years. She was a mamber of First United Presbyterian Church and Chapter AK, PEO.

Survivors: one grandson, Mark Schowalter, Truckee, California; one granddaughter, Janet Schowalter, Auburn, California and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Schowalter, Jr. on October 10, 1973.

Graveside services were held at the Halstead cemetery with Rev. Dale L. Powell.
