Obituary

Katherine Warkentin Siemens, 94, Buhler, died January 9, 1990 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born January 21, 1895 in Haarvey County, the daughter of Henry A. and Katie Dick Warkentin. She married Peter H. Siemens November 22, 1914 at Burrton. He died May 3, 1967. She was a homemaker and had lived in Buhler since April of 1989, moving from Hesston.

Survivors: three sons, John H Siemens, Liberal, Kansas; Robert H. Siemens, Halstead; and James H. Siemens, Burrton; two daughters, Anna Marie Ruyle, Owasso, Oklahoma and Florence Becker, Buhler; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchidren.

Services were held Friday at the Burrton Mennonite church with the Rev. James Gundy. burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
