Obituary

Frances Anna Cheatum, 85, Halstead, died July 31, 1991 at Friendly Acres Retirement Center, Newton. She was born August 19, 1905 at Vinning, Oklahoma, the daughter of Eddie and Isabel Bennett McIntire. A Halstead resident since 1928, she was a retired nurses aid. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Halstead, and Rebekah Lodge, Newton.

She married Lloyd W. Cheatum at Wellington on September 24, 1928. He died September 18, 1973.

Survivors: son, Kenneth Koehn, Halstead; nephew, Charles Stein, Wichita; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Friday aafternoon August 2 at the Halstead Cemetery.
