Obituary

Gene E. Davison, 68, Sedgwick, brother of Gary Davison, Halstead, died July 12, 1991 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born January 21, 1923 at Derby, the son of Victor Earl and Crystal Donna Wilson Davison. A lifelong resident of Sedgwick, he was a retired Southwestern Bell supervisor.

He was a member of the First Christian Church and the American Legion, Sedgwick; the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Newton; and Southwestern Bell Telephone Pioneers. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He married Naomi V. Barth at Wichita on February 13, 1943. She survives. Other survivors: daughter, Connie Janzen, Hutchinson; six other brothers, Jimmie Davison and Jerry Davison, both of Sedgwick; Charles Davison and Kent Davison, both of Hutchinson; Don Davison, Wichita; and Larry Davison, Irving, Texas; two sisters, Faye Hunter, Moscow, Idaho and Kaye Hill, Sedgwick, also one grandchild, Jennifer Anderes, Hutchinson.

Services were held Tuesday morning at Kaufman Funeral home, Halstead. Burial was in the Hillside Cenetery, Sedgwick.
