Obituary

Mary Ruth Freeburg, 76, Halstead, died February 6, 1991 at the Halstead Hospital. She was born February 14, 1914 at Concordia, Kansas the daughter of John D. and Erma Gamble Swengel. She married Paul D. Freeburg, April 13, 1942 at Concordia. She was a homemaker and had been a Halstead resident for 49 years. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Halstead.

Survivors: husband of the home; two sons, Harold Smith, Wichita; and David Freeburg, Halstead; two daughters, Ruth Pannell, Wichita and Judy Freeburg, Halstead; one grandchild two step grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday afternoon at Kaufman Funeral Home. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
